Study Series Scripture Integrity "By Grace..." Answers questions regarding Jesus, God, Bible, Church, Spirit, Life from a Biblical perspective. Online study series exploring the Bible and searching for simple and logical ways that scripture explains itself. Updated Oct 2008
Living In Truth
Ye shall know...
"It's too hard to know if the scriptures have been mistranslated."
"There are too many versions of the Bible."
"There are too many contradictions."
"It was written by men."
These are among the many reasons people give for not believing the Bible, or for not reading it. And they are indeed valid concerns.
Those believing that these are not valid concerns are setting themselves up to follow blindly whatever apparent logic men may conceive.
You have heard the expression, "blind faith?" Blind faith is not a Biblical concept.
In this study we shall explore translations and versions, and search for a simple and logical way that scripture itself sets forth to understand. For, the Bible does interpret itself according to the rules of the languages it was written in.
These are simple rules, so simple that "not even a fool need err therein." And once you realize they are there you will easily perceive them.
For, God is a logical Being. And He, being a God Who loves, did not design you for confusion, ignorance, or robotic adherence to a faith you know little of.
Rather, He desires fellowship with you.
Fellowship connotes a conscious desire to cling to another, with a rich sharing. Fellowship cannot be done in ignorance.
"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
"Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved;)
"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
"That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure."
"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God."
God wants you to know.
Not to merely guess, not to merely hope for, but to know and to BE FILLED with the knowledge of his will, and increasing in that knowledge to be fruitful in every good work as a follower of Jesus Christ.
...and the truth...
"Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
"Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:"
See? God's will is not for us to guess, or to be in darkness, but to "abound" in his revealed wisdom, and to KNOW the revelation of mysteries, to the end that for us they are no more secrets pertaining to this age.
Are there things that God keeps secrets?
Yes. But those are things we can only guess at. The revelation of scripture is for us to know, not in blind faith, but in wisdom. Indeed, the term "revelation" means "a revealing."
That does not mean that all will readily receive it, or that it will be a piece of cake. And every one of those who wish only to scoff will remain blinded.
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
2 Cor. 4:3&4
You see, while we are not to walk in blind faith, we are not to walk as those who wish to scoff at every good thing, either. There is one referred to as "the god of this world," one who has power in this world.
It is he who blinds Christians and non-Christians, not the true God.
We will search out this truth also.
But for those who are willing to search with open heart and steeled mind, there is available a realm of truth in which one is made free.
Free to know and serve God, not as a religious vassal, but as a child of the kingdom, freely given the knowledge of the King.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
In this study you can have these questions answered:
· "How can I understand the Bible?"
· "What is God's will for me?"
· "Are miracles still available?"
· "Do I need to tithe?"
· "What is the true Church?"
· "Can I really know I'm saved?"
· "Does God truly love me?"
· "Who is Jesus Christ?"
· "What can I do for God?"
· "What can I do for God's people?"
· "Is there a devil?"
· "Is there a heaven?"
· "Is Christianity practical today?"
· "What is my place in eternity?"
· "How can I pray effectually?"
Would you like even one or two of these questions answered? Can you actually even know the answers to these questions?
Yes, you can know the answers to these questions, and more.
Not guess, not wonder, but know.
Come with us now and find out.
...shall make you free!

Through the years we at Free Christian Ministry have been blessed with the fellowship and teaching of many wonderful Christian believers. As a result we are able to present this internet class "Scripture Integrity."
As a result of attempting to provide a fresh approach, we will fall terribly short in having any idea as to how, or even when, to credit those upon whose work we've built and who showed us what , and when. For this we sincerely apologize. Understand we've spent many years making this material our own and have looked at everything we are sharing herein a dozen different ways according to the suggestions and advice of literally hundreds of different people via article, sermon, lecture, book, counselling and various other forums for over a two-decade span of time.
Of the various subjects covered, perhaps three, the subject of "Ye are the Temple," "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil," and "Nephilim: Fallen Angels" are subjects originally developed by Free Christian Ministry, and even these three subjects were covered using keys and methods used by those who in turn taught us.
We owe specific debts of gratitude to John Lynn and Christian Educational Services for their work of manifestations of holy spirit and the tithe, which we have shamelessly stolen and endeavored to make our own according to our best doctrinal understanding. Oh, John, thanks for the ant in the mayonnaise jar. It's all I really envisioned of "the law of believing" during the Way years. While we do not see eye to eye on several areas, we thank God for your faith.
Sue Pierce we wish to thank for her work on the tithe and for showing us that "tongues with interpretation" was still prayer, and how it fit with prophesy. We pilfered her understanding as well, and Sue, I still sing in tongues. At the time of this writing Sue pastors two churches in the Denver Co. area.
And we owe a huge debt to those involved in the Way International from 1979-1987. For from there we realized that the truth inherent in scripture was still ready for the reaping, and though we disagree doctrinally with the Way of those years on many issues, most of us were on the straight and narrow road during those years, living in faith, hope, and love. We're sorry for those who weren't and for those who were but were hurt, and earnestly pray you are all finding healing and wholeness. This class is fundamentally based on the expansion provided by the Power For Abundant Living series by Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille. Those familiar with that study may recognize some similarities. Again, not deliberate plagiarism, but indicative that this is where we first were exposed to some of these subjects, even if in collecting the wonderful works of those who came before, such as Styles and Bullinger, some error was retained or originated. Hopefully we've built and corrected those errors, and God bless at the resurrection the many people Dr. Wierwille in turn "borrowed" from. We owe them as well.
Also we are not without a debt of gratitude to a body of work on all these subjects too numerous to recognize let alone accredit. We are definitely not the only ministry on the forefront of accurately understanding God's Word, nor does our wor kreplace theirs. From the great research institutes to the local Church holding praise services three times a week, each ministry serves its purpose.. And the Body of Christ has only one head, Jesus Christ. No man or woman's ministry can embrace and shelter that Body, that is our Lord's job.
This said, we also are not trying to plagiarize anybody's work. All content in Scripture Integrity has been additionally worked according to the best of our scriptural understanding. We hope that the similarities to any other work lay in attention to the teaching of others, common approaches, a common subject, two thousand years of common Christian influence, common beliefs, a common topic of study (the Bible) and a common Spirit guiding our efforts.
To those who have taught us and unknowingly or knowingly contributed, without which not one word of this would have been possible,
This, after all, is your legacy as much as it is ours.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved;
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
